Journal of Animal Science and Technology (J. Anim. Sci. Technol. or JAST) is a peer-reviewed, open access journal publishing original research, review articles and notes in all fields of animal science.Topics covered by the journal include: genetics and breeding, physiology, nutrition of monogastric animals, nutrition of ruminants, animal products (milk, meat, eggs and their by-products) and their processing, grasslands and roughages, livestock environment, animal biotechnology, animal behavior and welfare.Articles generally report research involving beef cattle, dairy cattle, pigs, companion animals, goats, horses, and sheep. However, studies involving other farm animals, aquatic and wildlife species, and laboratory animal species that address fundamental questions related to livestock and companion animal biology will also be considered for publication.The Journal of Animal Science and Technology (J. Anim. Technol. or JAST) has been the official journal of The Korean Society of Animal Science and Technology (KSAST) since 2000, formerly known as The Korean Journal of Animal Sciences (launched in 1956).

动物科学与技术杂志（J. Anim.科学Technol.或JAST）是一本同行评审、开放获取的期刊，发表动物科学所有领域的原创研究、综述文章和笔记。该期刊涵盖的主题包括：遗传学和育种、生理学、单胃动物的营养、反刍动物的营养、动物产品（奶、肉、蛋及其副产品）及其加工、草地和粗饲料、家畜环境、动物生物技术、动物行为和福利。文章一般报道涉及肉牛、奶牛、猪、伴侣动物、山羊、马和绵羊的研究。然而，涉及其他农场动物、水生和野生动物物种以及实验室动物物种的研究，涉及与家畜和伴侣动物生物学相关的基本问题，也将考虑发表。韩国动物科学技术学会（KSAST）于2000年正式出版《韩国动物科学杂志》（1956年创刊）。
