Numerical Functional Analysis and Optimization is a journal aimed at development and applications of functional analysis and operator-theoretic methods in numerical analysis, optimization and approximation theory, control theory, signal and image processing, inverse and ill-posed problems, applied and computational harmonic analysis, operator equations, and nonlinear functional analysis. Not all high-quality papers within the union of these fields are within the scope of NFAO. Generalizations and abstractions that significantly advance their fields and reinforce the concrete by providing new insight and important results for problems arising from applications are welcome. On the other hand, technical generalizations for their own sake with window dressing about applications, or variants of known results and algorithms, are not suitable for this journal. Numerical Functional Analysis and Optimization publishes about 70 papers per year. It is our current policy to limit consideration to one submitted paper by any author/co-author per two consecutive years. Exception will be made for seminal papers.
数值泛函分析与优化(英语:Numerical Functional Analysis and Optimization)是一本致力于泛函分析和算子理论方法在数值分析、优化和近似理论、控制理论、信号和图像处理、逆问题和不适定问题、应用和计算谐波分析、算子方程和非线性泛函分析中的发展和应用的杂志。并不是所有这些领域联盟内的高质量论文都在NFAO的范围内。通过为应用中出现的问题提供新的见解和重要的结果,从而显著推进其领域并加强具体内容的概括和抽象是受欢迎的。另一方面,技术概括本身的目的是粉饰应用,或已知结果和算法的变体,不适合本杂志。数值泛函分析与优化每年发表约70篇论文。我们目前的政策是限制任何作者/合著者每连续两年提交一篇论文。开创性论文除外。
