Applied Mathematics and Mechanics is the English version of a journal on applied mathematics and mechanics published in the People's Republic of China. Our Editorial Committee, headed by Professor Chien Weizang, Ph.D., President of Shanghai University, consists of scientists in the fields of applied mathematics and mechanics from all over China.Founded by Professor Chien Weizang in 1980, Applied Mathematics and Mechanics became a bimonthly in 1981 and then a monthly in 1985. It is a comprehensive journal presenting original research papers on mechanics, mathematical methods and modeling in mechanics as well as applied mathematics relevant to neoteric mechanics.

《应用数学与力学》（英语：Applied Mathematics and Mechanics）是中华人民共和国出版的应用数学与力学期刊的英语版。本刊编辑委员会由钱维藏博士领导，《应用数学与力学》是由上海大学校长钱伟藏教授于1980年创办的，由全国应用数学和力学领域的科学家组成。1981年创刊双月刊，1985年创刊月刊。这是一个综合性的杂志，介绍了力学，数学方法和力学建模以及应用数学有关的近代力学原创研究论文。
