期刊简介

This journal publishes original and review articles on geology and related sciences, in Spanish or English, in three issues a year (January, May and September). Articles or notes on major topics of broad interest in Earth Sciences dealing with the geology of South and Central America and Antarctica, and particularly of the Andes, are welcomed.The journal is interested in publishing thematic sets of papers and accepts articles dealing with systematic Paleontology only if their main focus is the chronostratigraphical, paleoecological and/or paleogeographical importance of the taxa described therein.

该杂志以西班牙文或英语发表地质学和相关科学的原创和评论文章，每年出版三期（1月、5月和9月）。欢迎发表有关地球科学中涉及南美洲、中美洲和南极洲，特别安第斯山脉地质学的重要主题的文章或说明。该杂志有兴趣发表专题论文集，并只接受涉及系统古生物学的文章，如果这些文章的主要焦点是其中所描述的分类群在年代地层学、古生态学和/或古地理学上的重要性。
